Notes
1The detailed list sorted by function contains the details for over 1,580 special districts. It may take some time to load, depending upon your internet speed. Additionally, the number of pages required to print the report may exceed your printer's buffer memory and cause performance problems. Therefore, if you do not need to see the entire list all at once, please use the select functions page or go to create Your Own Official List of Special Districts and create more manageable-sized reports for downloading and printing.
2Occasionally, special districts do not register with the Special District Information Program until well after their creation date. This list may be useful to agencies updating their databases. Use the create Your Own Official List of Special Districts page to create a list of special districts based on the actual date they were established.
